Necessity is the mother of invention.  3 years ago, I was a MBA student at Penn State and  my wife was pregnant with our second child.  As you could guess, we sorely needed an additional income.  So, just like you, we explored using the internet to create an additional income stream for our household, mesmerized by all of the get rich quick schemes that proliferate the ‘net   (it was also no coincidence that I was going through the e-commerce portion of my MBA program).

So I built my first two websites, TheUrbanProfessional.com and RoddyJonesTrading.com.  I had this CRAZY idea to sell custom made suits and fashion accessories over the internet.  Being the good MBA student that I was at the time, I did all of the research, I studied the technologies that I thought were needed to make my idea work, and I just knew that my plan would succeed.  To make a long story short, The Urban Professional failed miserably as a fashion e-commerce website (Although TheUP is enjoying  a solid second life as a blog) and we moved Roddy Jones Trading to Ebay and GrabCart.

There are many reasons why my first projects failed.  However, the number one reason that I think that my first website projects failed was because while I understood the business aspects of running an online shop,  I didn’t have a good grasp on the importance of internet market research and how to apply this research to search engine optimization (SEO) .

Although I failed in the highly competitive world of online fashion resale, I gained alot of experience with SEO, specifically naturally increasing relevant organic search traffic through SEO.  I kept in contact with the core of my team (article writer, on-page optimization specialist, and link building specialist) and started what is now Real Easy SEO.com

Since I am a small business owner (who is now happily married with THREE kids) I understand the importance of getting the most value out of your investment. Our focus is providing small business owners  with a world class SEO experience at a budget price.

How?  Because we are currently a small company working hard to be successful.  Quite frankly, our prices are low now because we are building our clientele.  Our backgrounds, education, and work experience are comparable to the big boys, and our SEO practices are white hat.

SIDE NOTE:  SEO is not hard, just time consuming.  Don’t feel that you necessarily have to pay $10,000/month for SEO.  Whether you do business with us or another natural seo company, please know that trust, transparency, and dependability are just as important as experience and a “big name”.
